Our approach

This statement applies to www.peopleskillswales.co.uk. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA.

You should be able to:

  • navigate the whole site using only a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline
  • zoom to 200% and use the site on a small screen without content being cut off or needing to scroll sideways
  • use the site with animation turned off: if your device is set to reduce motion, animations and the background video are switched off
  • pause the background video at any time using the button in the top section of each page
  • read text with sufficient colour contrast against its background
  • use the enquiry form with clear labels, error messages that explain what to fix, and no time limits
  • understand the course diagrams through a text explanation beside each one

How accessible this website is

We believe the website meets WCAG 2.2 level AA in most respects. We know of these limitations:

  • Some decorative background images have no text description, because they don't carry information. Any images that do carry meaning have a description.
  • Links to other websites, such as LinkedIn, take you to services we don't control and that may not be fully accessible.

If you find anything else that's difficult to use, please tell us.
